Buying
Single rooms start from £1,695 fitted, and two-room systems from £3,495. Your exact price depends on the size of unit, the brand and the pipe run, and we confirm it in writing within 48 hours of your free survey. 0% finance is available.
There’s no single best brand. Each one suits different rooms and priorities. We’re not tied to one manufacturer, so we recommend the best fit for each room at your free survey.
Around 2.5 kW for an average bedroom and typically 5 to 7 kW for living rooms and kitchens, but glazing, aspect and insulation all make a difference. We measure every room at your free survey.
No. We supply and fit every system ourselves, so it’s installed by F-Gas certified engineers, commissioned properly and registered for its warranty.
Installation
Most homes are fitted in a single day. Multi-room systems can take a little longer, and we’ll tell you exactly how long when we quote.
Many home installations don’t need it, but there are rules about where the outdoor unit can go, especially for flats, listed buildings and conservation areas. We check this at your survey and tell you before you commit if permission is needed.
Yes, one small hole for the pipes and cable to run between the indoor and outdoor units. We seal and finish it neatly, and the pipework outside runs in a slim white cover.
We keep units from all four brands in stock, so we’re not waiting on deliveries. We’ll offer you the earliest installation date available when we confirm your fixed price.
No. We sort the power for you, including a new circuit if your system needs one, so there’s nothing electrical for you to arrange.
Very little. We protect your floors and furniture, make one small hole for the pipe run, keep dust down and take all the packaging away when we’re done.
Running costs
Less than most people expect. A highly efficient bedroom unit costs up to about 13p an hour at full power at today’s energy price cap, and inverter units usually run below full power once the room is cool.
Yes. Most systems we fit run in reverse in winter, producing around 3 to 4 units of heat for every unit of electricity they use.
Modern indoor units are very quiet, and night modes run the fan at a whisper. We also position the outdoor unit to keep noise away from you and your neighbours.
Maintenance
Once a year is a good rule of thumb for most homes. Some manufacturers set their own servicing requirements to keep the warranty valid, and we’ll check those for you.
Yes. We service and repair all major brands, including Samsung, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu and Toshiba, even if we didn’t fit the system.
